Alcohol Policy
How alcohol-containing gift products are supplied and delivered by Olive & Ivory Gifts.
Regulatory Basis (ACT)
Olive & Ivory Gifts operates as a gift-maker style business and supplies alcohol only as part of combined gift packages, in line with applicable ACT requirements and exemptions under the Liquor Act 2010 framework.
Gift Package Limits
Where alcohol is included in a gift package, the alcohol component is limited to no more than 1.5 litres per package, and the value of the alcohol component does not exceed half of the total package sale price.
No Standalone Alcohol Sales
Alcohol is not sold as a standalone item. It is supplied only as a component of a broader gift package.
Age Verification and Lawful Supply
Alcohol-containing gifts are supplied only to recipients legally permitted to receive alcohol. Valid photo identification may be required at delivery. We may refuse delivery where age verification cannot be completed, where the recipient appears intoxicated, or where supply would otherwise be unlawful.
Delivery Handling
Alcohol items will not be left unattended where age verification is required. If no eligible recipient is available, a delivery attempt may be recorded and redelivery or alternative lawful arrangements may be required. Additional fees may apply.
Policy Changes and Compliance
We may update this policy to remain aligned with applicable laws and regulatory guidance. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
