Terms governing use of Olive & Ivory Gifts website and ordering services.
Agreement to Terms
By using this website and placing an order with Olive & Ivory Gifts, you agree to these Terms of Service and our related policies, including our Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Delivery Policy.
Orders and Customer Information
You are responsible for providing accurate order, recipient, and delivery details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we may offer a suitable substitute, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
Cancellation Terms
Order cancellations are handled under our Cancellation Policy. Eligible cancellations are refunded to the original payment method in line with that policy.
Delivery Conditions
To protect product quality, we recommend ensuring the recipient is available at the delivery address. Where no recipient is available, we may contact the recipient and leave the order in a location that appears reasonably safe and suitable, where permitted.
Alcohol Products and Age Verification
Orders containing alcohol may only be delivered to persons legally permitted to receive alcohol in the delivery jurisdiction. Valid photo identification may be required at handover. We may refuse or withhold delivery where lawful age verification cannot be completed, where the recipient appears intoxicated, or where delivery would otherwise be unlawful. Additional redelivery or handling fees may apply.
Risk and Responsibility After Delivery
Once delivery has been completed, including where photo proof is recorded, responsibility for the order passes to the recipient/customer (subject to rights under Australian Consumer Law). We are not responsible for loss, damage, or deterioration caused after delivery by weather exposure, heat, water, pests, site conditions, or animals at the delivery location.
Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Details
If delivery details are incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible, delivery may be delayed, redirected, returned, or cancelled. Additional redelivery or handling fees may apply. Perishable or time-sensitive products that cannot be safely redelivered may not be recoverable.
Changes to Products, Website, and Terms
We may update product availability, pricing, website content, and these terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
